His Saints debut isn’t going great.
Going into tonight’s game against the Minnesota Vikings, it was fair to wonder how Adrian Peterson’s tenure in New Orleans would go.
After all, AP is now 32 years old and the Saints already had a pretty good running back in Mark Ingram. Additionally, New Orleans drafted Tennessee standout Alvin Kamara in the third round in April.
About three quarters into Peterson’s Saints career, things aren’t going well. He has just 18 yards on six carries, and his former teammates seem intent on bottling him up when he does touch the ball.
Additionally, Peterson was caught by the ESPN cameras trying to get head coach Sean Payton’s attention on the sideline. We don’t know exactly what was said, but he sure doesn’t look happy.
