What we can expect after the Oakland Raiders Week 1 victory

On Sept. 10, the first Sunday of football for the 2017 season, the Oakland Raiders took down the Tennessee Titans in Tennessee and displayed some areas of strength.  The score was not very convincing, but the Raiders won 26-16.  There were a lot of good things that came from the Raiders’ offense and defense.

Offensively, the Raiders looked very calm, cool, and collected.  QB Derek Carr and the receiving corps had a great afternoon.  WR Michael Crabtree led the team in receiving yards, racking up 86 with a long of 25 yards.  He was targeted seven times, and he pulled in six receptions on the day.  WR Amari Cooper had a stunning day as well.  He torched the Titans defense on a play that he scored a touchdown on.  He was targeted a team high 13 times, but only pulled in five catches.  He accumulated 62 yards on the afternoon and got his first touchdown of the season.  There was one more touchdown reception, and Carr connected with WR Seth Roberts on that play for a 19 yard score.  Roberts was targeted once and reeled in his …
