Narduzzi weighed in briefly earlier today.
After Penn State beat Pitt 33-14 on Saturday, Nittany Lions head coach James Franklin appeared to take a slight jab at the Panthers.
Franklin commented that the win over Pitt was just like beating Akron, the team Penn State beat in its season opener. Meanwhile, Franklin claimed Pitt’s 2016 win over the Nittany Lions was “like a Super Bowl” for them.
Today, Narduzzi responded to Franklin’s comments.
Pat Narduzzi on James Franklin’s postgame comments: “They went low, we went high.”

He didn’t say much more, but it sounds like he wasn’t happy about what Franklin said.
After being dormant for 15 years, the Penn State-Pitt rivalry was reignited last year. It’s off to a pretty good start through two matchups.
