The OSU running back has made his voice heard.
After Oklahoma’s win at Ohio State on Saturday, Sooner quarterback Baker Mayfield caused a stir when he took the OU flag out to midfield and planted it on the OSU logo.
Mayfield apologized for his actions today, though we’d guess head coach Lincoln Riley forced his hand.
Meanwhile, Ohio State running back Mike Weber tweeted his thoughts on the situation, saying Mayfield purposely waited until the Buckeye players were off the field before planting the flag as to avoid a confrontation.
He knew to wait until we went into the locker room to pull this one off https://t.co/JOgOdEsbQ5

Whatever your feelings on Flag-gate, one thing is certain: it would be pretty cool if these two teams somehow matched up again in the College Football Playoff.
Oklahoma returns to the field this week against Tulane, while Ohio State hosts Army.
