Report: Jaguars WR Allen Robinson Suffered A “Significant” Knee Injury Today

He went down early in Week 1.

The Jacksonsville Jaguars won their season-opener in Houston today but might have lost their best receiver for a while in the process.

Robinson suffered the knee injury as he made his first reception of the season on the team’s third play of the game.

He left the field and did not return. Now, ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that Robinson suffered a “significant” injury.

After a 1,400-yard, 14-touchdown season in 2015, Robinson cooled down last year at Jacksonville quarterback Blake Bortles struggled. He finished with only 883 yards and six touchdowns.

Robinson appeared to be a potential bounce-back candidate this year, but that status is on hold until his injury is diagnosed.
