Missouri Has Fired Defensive Coordinator DeMontie Cross

Missouri has fired defensive coordinator DeMontie Cross.

After an ugly loss to South Carolina in its SEC opener, the Missouri Tigers are already making a change. Defensive coordinator DeMontie Cross is out.

Cross, who was named to the position in 2016 by head coach Barry Odom, last just over a season in the role.

Missouri’s defense struggled in week one – giving up 492 yards and 43 points to Missouri State. A 31-13 loss to South Carolina didn’t help matters.

Odom has yet to reveal how the team will replace Cross. We’ll keep you updated.
